Started two seasons at Pasadena City College at QB. Earned 2006 Honorable Mention All-America from JC Grid-Wire and second team All-Mission Conference with 2,703/26 TDs, completing 66.6 percent of passes. In '07, was JC GridWire All-American, all-state and All-Mission Conference as well as Mission Conference co-offensive player of the year passing for 3,643/35 TDs completing just under 67 percent of his passes. Set single-season school records in passing yards (3,643), completion percentage (66.9), completions (303), passing attempts (453) and touchdowns (35) in '07. Rivals and Scout rated him as a four-star athlete and quarterback. At Minnesota, played wide receiver on offense and special teams in 10 games. He caught two passes for 19 yards during the regular season. Earned his first career start in the Insight Bowl against the Kansas Jayhawks, completing a 75-yard pass on the Gophers' first offensive play and finishing with two catches for 13 yards. Pittman, son of NY Giants' Danny Pittman, impressed in several tryouts including the UFL.
